We had a little bit of snow overnight. It's not bad in our neighborhood, and actually quite pretty with the driveways, sidewalks and street looking normal but the lawns and trees covered in about an inch of snow. The dogs loved romping in it. The news is reporting that schools have closed for the day, and elevated road portions are closed due to icing. We'll have to check a bit later this morning and see if the Cancer Institute is open and available for our appointment and chemo. We're supposed to be there at 11:00am.
Lisa woke up feeling pretty good, though she's coughing a bit more than she was yesterday. She slept propped up per post-op instructions. Her throat pain is gone and thankfully there's no post-op chest pain like there had been with the previous bronchoscopy when they took biopies.
Update 10:15 - they're open... we're going.
Update 3:00 - We're back. Lisa's counts (platelets, red cells and white cells) were all good today. Nothing new, and also no problems with today's treatment. Lisa was even able to sleep through part of it again.
