Today we went to Point Defiance Park, and drove their 5-mile loop and stopped at their beach.  We went to lunch at Salty's Restaurant in Redondo, which is a long-time favorite of ours.

In the afternoon we went to Tacoma and visited my friend Richard Griot, owner of Griot's Garage (a mail order car care catalog business based at www.GriotsGarage.com), and he gave us a tour of their incredible new facility.  He also took us into what he calls "The Candy Store", which is a separate area where he keeps his private car collection.  He has quite a few cars in various stages of repair and restoration, from disassembled old race cars to old classics to showroom new looking sports cars.
