Our medical consult person at MD Anderson has suggested that we do a PET/CT following this second round of the Alimta/Carboplatin chemo, rather than just a CT, since that would be best for monitoring existing and potential new bone mets, as well as chest lymph nodes. I've already shared that this morning with our radiation oncologist; he agrees and will coordinate that with the medical oncologist.

Today a "nebulizer" was delivered. They're most often used with Albuterol to open airways for people with asthma, COPD or other lung problems, but Albuterol can raise heart rate, which Lisa certainly doesn't need, so she's been given a different but similar inhalant, "Xopenex", that doesn't have that side effect. She won't have to use it every day, just "as needed".
