Lisa's "day after chemo" today was a high-energy day presumably thanks to the steroids that are given with the chemo... they do what they're supposed to, which is to offset the initial "hit" of having all those nasty chemicals put into you. Lisa was very active doing work associated with her job, and later doing "house projects" until the middle of the evening when the steroid high noticeably wore off and she started feeling poorly by around 9pm.
Tomorrow afternoon, Lisa goes in for her infusion of extra fluids (saline), which takes around 3 hours. This is again to lessen the side effects of the chemo, especially nausea, headache and fatigue.
