MRI Results
We got a summary via phone and confirmed the details after we got the actual report of Lisa's femur and pelvis MRI which shows that it's stable with no new tumors, and no fractures or notable bone degradation - that's all good news! At this point, there's no reason not to presume that the chemo is doing the same thing to cancer in her bones as it is to the cancer in her lungs -- shrinking and killing it! The oncologist's office has suggested that Lisa consult with the orthopedic specialist if she's still having pain. The report does show bruising/inflammation in the soft tissue around the bones, and though Lisa has been off of anti-inflammatory meds for awhile, she probably needs to start taking them again.
