GREAT NEWS!!

I'd gotten the disc of images from the CT scan yesterday, so after combing through them, I had a reasonable idea that things were looking good.  Today we got the radiologist's report and it was even better than I expected.  There is only a single tumor that shows up now, and it's only about one inch in size, and even that is 34% smaller than it was in the scan two months ago.  All of Lisa's other tumor masses are GONE!  We thank God and our doctors, and thank you to all of our prayer partners!

The doctor recommends two more chemo cycles (which is a total of 4 more treatments) including the one Lisa had today, followed by a PET scan.  Presuming the PET scan shows things are as good as this week's CT scan shows, then Lisa can go "on a break" from chemo treatments other than the monthly Xgeva injection to help keep her bones strong and cancer-resistant.

Right now, it looks like Lisa is in at least partial remission, which means that her cancer is significantly reduced and what is left is under control and is no longer growing or spreading.
