The CT scan showed that the cancer is no longer growing, and is basically the same as it was when the PET/CT was done September 21st. That means that it's stable, or may have peaked and is now shrinking... there's no way to tell, but even if the chemo has only forced the cancer into a plateau, that's still good news.  Lisa's blood counts were also good.

Lisa will be continuing this chemo mix for two more cycles before the next scan.  Each cycle is two weeks of treatment, and then a week off.  Between cycles she'll have a regular chest x-ray for a quick check.

We talked to the doctor about the bad spasms that Lisa had after the treatments, and he said that was probably caused by the Neulasta white blood cell booster injection, and because Lisa's counts have held up well, she won't need that in this cycle.

The lymphedema in Lisa's leg has changed "texture" a little bit, so tomorrow afternoon she'll have an ultrasound done just to make sure it's still just lymphedema and there's no problem with blood clots.
