Lisa's chemo treatment yesterday went well, though they had a problem hooking up to the port for the pre-chemo blood work draw.  They had to make several tries before it finally worked, and it was rather unpleasant and somewhat overwhelming for Lisa.  They eventually got it, and the later infusion went without incident, and she felt very good most of the evening thanks to the steroids that precede the chemo drugs.

Today she has rescheduled the immune system booster shot for later in the afternoon instead of this morning... as she puts it, she wants to feel good for as long as she can before having to deal with the accompanying flu-like bone pain.

After today, it's just WAIT for 10 days until the scans on the 29th.
