I thought we were done with long days at the Cancer Center, but today was another one of them, and we were there for over five hours.  We went there this morning for blood work to check possible causes of Lisa's ongoing fever.  The blood work was followed by a visit with one of the medical oncologists filling in for our usual one who is on vacation.

Lisa's various blood elements all tested as adequate.  They do think she has some kind of infection which is unlikely to go away on its own, and they ended up giving her an infusion of a strong anti-biotic, as well as 5 days of pills of the same drug.  We'll go back on Wednesday for a follow up.
