We have an appointment this morning with one of the Radiation Oncologists (our regular one is away this week) to discuss Lisa's steroid dose... whether it's the right dose and whether something else might be more effective with her ear pain and SVC Syndrome symptoms without making her so "jittery", as she describes it.

On a happy note, the steroids she's taking now do seem to be helping with the inflammation in her esophagus, and she's finding it easier to eat without pain as the food goes down.

UPDATE:  The local pharmacy now has the same type of steroid that Lisa had several weeks ago that helped her, so the doctor gave her a new prescription and Lisa is transitioning to that steroid instead.
