11:30am... Lisa is out of surgery, we've talked with the surgeon, and we're in the waiting room while Lisa is in recovery.  All went well, and as expected, the surgeon couldn't tell anything by appearances and we'll have to wait for the lab report.  A lot of samples were taken for biopsy so the results should be quite definitive and revealing once we have them.  The surgeon did say that Lisa's airways are very open and there was no need for any lasering, which is good to hear.  The tumor has receded from the area of concern near the main bronchial branch, which is also good news..

Lisa will need to rest today and sleep in a recliner so that she's a bit upright to reduce possible swelling.  She's to be on clear liquids most of the day, or possibly light food such as cereal this evening if she wants it.  Tomorrow she should be able to eat whatever she likes, and Saturday be able to do whatever she feels up to doing.

For the most part, we're just needing to wait for the pathology report, which we'll hopefully have by close of business tomorrow, but might not get until Monday.  The surgeon will personally call us as soon as he has it.
