Houston

We arrived in Houston... and had a little initial confusion. Lisa had thought she'd booked us to fly into Houston Hobby Airport, but our flight came in to Bush International which is on the complete opposite side of the city. Once we figured that out, it just took a 30 minute taxi ride to get to the hotel.

Lisa had certainly done her research on hotels around the cancer center, and we're at the Hotel ZaZa. Not only is it beautiful in a nice location, it also caters to cancer patients. Because they weren't fully booked, they upgraded us from our standard guest room to a "Splendito Suite" at no additional charge. This suite is 1,100 square feet and beautifully furnished and has a wonderful view. Under the circumstances, we're blessed to be here.
