Our Radiation Oncologist hasn't been able to make the connection to his counterpart at MD Anderson quite yet, so we're presuming that will happen some time next week. Even when he does, it may not result in anything different... he's looking for more input on whether Lisa's circumstances warrant two more weeks of radiation, or if the possibility of extended damage to good tissue that potentially couldn't heal -- especially her spinal cord -- isn't worth the risk.
Lisa's still coughing quite a bit, especially at night, and at other times when she tries to talk too much, but all of the problematic radiation effects seems to have nearly gone away, and her incision from the July 7th mediastinoscopy surgery is healing very nicely and there have been no complications.
