Endoscopy

It's 11:15am and I'm in the hospital waiting room, waiting for Lisa to be ready to be released from recovery. The doctor came out a few minutes ago and said everything looks fine, with no ulcers or obvious irritated lining or acid problems. This is both good and bad... the good is, there's no obvious problem... the bad is, we don't know the cause of the nausea. With no visible cause, the doctor presumes that it is due to Lisa's medications, or mix of them. For the last three days, Lisa had stopped taking all of her prescription pain and anti-inflammatory meds, and her stomach is a bit better, but of course her hip and leg feels much worse. The gastroenterologist will be sending his notes to both the medical oncologist and the radiation oncologist, and we'll be looking into alternatives for pain control.
