Yesterday Lisa tapered off the steroids, and today she could tell the difference, with more pain in her leg and hip, and more pain when walking.

This afternoon was another chemo treatment, preceded by bloodwork and a doctor visit. The important elements of Lisa's blood work are still all good - she pays close attention to the mix of things that she eats. We talked to the doctor about the continued discomfort in hip and leg. He said stopping chemo and using radiation during that break is an option, but we decided to have today's chemo, and then since she'd be on a 2-week break before more chemo anyway, we'd wait and see if it improves, especially since she had the Xgeva injection last week. She can continue to take the steroids for a few days at a time as needed.

Around the end of the month we'll get a new PET/CT scan done, which will tell us a lot about how well the current chemo is continuing to work.
