Lisa was so bad today in both swelling and pain that this afternoon I got in touch with the oncologist and he agreed to see her as his last appointment of the day.  I think he was surprised at her swelling.  He said he reviewed the scans again to make sure that there's no indication of cancer causing lymph issues, since he's never seen this in Lisa's circumstances without that, and he again confirmed that it all looks clear, but he said he's certainly going to want to regularly scan there to make sure that there's nothing "hiding".

He said that Lisa needs to stop the lymphedema therapy visits for now, and he gave her prescriptions for a fairly strong steroid pack and some antibiotics that are especially good at skin and subcutaneous infections.
