The oncologist decided to give Lisa this week off from chemo and let the steroids work on her hip and leg, and then next week when chemo is given, it will contain only Navelbine and the Gemzar component will be left out... he thinks that Gemzar may be causing this side effect.  Meanwhile, he's also given her a different kind of pain medicine (still relatively low dose) that may work better for her.
