Today Lisa had her usual weekly blood tests done, and all of the important elements look really good.  We met with the oncologist and he said that her blood counts being "normal" despite the chemo is a very good indication that her body isn't having to fight the cancer and is able to better replenish blood cells and keep its chemistry balanced.

He's scheduled a PET scan for Monday (July 2nd) and we'll meet with him on July 5th.  If I am able to get the image disc as usual after the scan before we leave, I'll be able to have a good idea of what it's showing even before getting the radiologist's report.  Our expectation is that it will show the same as the great CT results, if not even better.  The doctor said that if it does, he'll probably recommend we just stop chemo now rather than do one more cycle, since Lisa's still dealing with swelling and lymphedema issues.
