Another night of fitful sleep for Lisa. Xanax doesn't last long enough as a sleep aid... it's intended as an anytime medication that you can function with during the day, so it doesn't particularly help you sleep, so we need to consider a true sleep aid like Ambien or Lunesta. Benadryl works ok, but it dries Lisa out too much. The pulmonary specialist had already told Lisa that she could take some of the Lunesta I have on hand, or she could be prescribed something. He had suggested Melatonin as a natural alternative since Lisa really doesn't like taking meds unless absolutely necessary, but the oncologist said to avoid any herbals during chemotherapy, including specifically melatonin.
Nothing planned for tomorrow.... Wednesday morning is the Laser Bronchoscopy... Thursday is the next chemo infusion.
