Dental cleaning and checkup was yesterday, brain MRI is this afternoon, Orthopedic Surgeon tomorrow afternoon.  Monday it's back to the Medical Oncologist to review MRI results and discuss what's next and probably start the Xgeva.

Lisa's hip area and leg is bothering her a bit more, but she says it feels primarily muscular rather than skeletal, probably because she's adjusting her sitting positions and walking style to accommodate the bone discomfort. We hope that's what it is, and we're not particularly looking forward to seeing the Orthopedic Surgeon... aren't surgeons predisposed to find a surgical solution? If Lisa's cancer in her weight-bearing leg and hip bones is not degenerative to the point of being high risk for fracture, we'd rather manage it with pain medication and go right to the Xgeva and local radiation instead of having that rod implant surgery first.
