Good news!

The orthopedic surgeon (Dr. Tindell) was very considerate and took his time examining Lisa. He took regular x-rays of Lisa's hip and pelvis, and after comparing them with the MRI, he believes that the structural integrity of Lisa's bones there are all good enough so that there's no worry about a spontaneous fracture from everyday activities. He'll communicate that with our radiation oncologist, so that radiation can be started on Lisa's femur and hip with the intent of keeping the cancer from getting worse there and from causing those kinds of structural problems later.
