Chemo was administered this afternoon as planned, with no problems during the process. They added intravenous Benadryl plus additional steroids to hopefully lessen the likelihood of fever and associated side effects that happened after chemo last week.
We got the results of Lisa's ultrasound, and no blood clots were seen. It is believed that the swelling (and it's in both legs now, though mild) is due to low protein and electrolytes, as show up in her latest blood tests.
Tomorrow afternoon Lisa goes in for another Neulasta shot... her white blood cell count has already taken quite a hit, so we have to be careful with her immune system being compromised right now.
