Lisa got the Neulasta shot this afternoon with no problems. Even though it's normally used for allergies, Lisa has to take Zyrtec (Cetirizine) for 5 days to help offset Neulasta's usual side effects (bone pain).

She's had a pretty good day, but she can tell that the steroids that came with the chemo yesterday are starting to wear off. She won't have to have the scheduled fluids (saline) infusion tomorrow if her blood pressure doesn't go too low, so we're hopeful that's the case, since she'd rather not be there at the cancer center for the four hours it takes to get that done.
