Lisa had a pretty good weekend, though her leg and hip still cause her difficulty in walking.  Early this morning we went to the orthopedic specialist to have it rechecked, and the x-rays shows that her bones in that area are still "ok" with no appreciable risk of spontaneous fracture or joint problem.

Some improvement in the bone could be seen compared to the April x-rays.  I asked how long it would take for the damage from the cancer to completely heal.  The doctor said that the bone is probably about as healed as it's going to get and will never be normal looking on an x-ray, but the important thing is that it retained adequate structural integrity.

Lisa will start chemo again later this week... probably Wednesday afternoon.
